Let me introduce myself, my name is Edie McDonald and I am the new Art teacher at Sullivan for students in grades pre-K through eighth grade. I have taught Art for seven years with  Minneapolis public schools, I have also taught Art for St.Paul for three and two years in Canada at the Junior and Senior High level. I grew up in Canada and went to school at the University of Manitoba where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Education degree. I have lived in Minneapolis for the last  16 years.

I am very excited to work with the students at Anne Sullivan. We have been very busy this year doing a wide variety of activities including; drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture and printmaking. We will be working with artist michael Okerstrom in planning and painting a large mural in the stairway leading from the gyms to the art room.
