ELL Services at Sullivan Communication School

Providing quality ELL support to qualifying students needing English  language help..
The ELL department at Sullivan serves students from the East African community in the south side of Minneapolis.  Our students receive services such as ESL 2-8 grades, the Newcomer program for immigrant students recently arriving to our school system, the Native Language Literacy program which provides Bilingual instruction in Somali to students K-2.  In addition, the ELL program works in coordination with other support services in our school building such as the Title I program, Gifted and Talented, Special Education, and a Reading Specialist.
