Evacuation Drill

Regular fire drills/building evacuation drills are held at school. During this drill, the building is vacated as rapidly and safely as possible.

  • An alarm bell/flashing lights will signal the start of the drill.
  • All students are to leave the building in a quiet and orderly manner, exiting by the assigned doorway.
  • Once outside, students are to move with their class to a designated area, a safe distance away from the building.
  • Re-admittance to the building will occur at an all-clear signal.
  • Classes should re-enter as a group in a quiet, orderly way.
