Field Trip to the Works

Kindergartners traveled to "The Works" to explore the wonders of science.  They were able to touch and explore everything in the museum.  They saw their funny reflections in wavy mirrors.  They lifted heavy weights with pulleys.  They built wheeled vehicles and raced them down ramps.  They built marble runs and gear constructions.  They built with large foam blocks, played a "light harp" and used remote controls to manipulate vehicles.  They also had a lesson on magnets, how they attract and how they repel.
