Mrs. Gores
Mrs. Gores, Room 246
Ms. Gores receives a special recognition for her outstanding efforts at Sullivan!
August 30, 2010
Dear Students and Families,
My name is Mrs. Gores and I will be working with you and your student this year in fourth grade. I am very excited about the opportunity to work with so many of you this school year! I will be teaming with Mrs. Duffy the other fourth grade teacher here at Anne sullivan.
This is my seventh year at Anne Sullivan. I came here from Hiawatha Community School after teaching for seven years. I graduated from Bloomington Kennedy High School in 1990 and St. Cloud State University in 1994. I received my Masters in Education from St. Scholastica University in Duluth, MN. I currently live in Burnsville, Minnesota, with my husband and three children; Hunter (9 years) and Ethan (5 1/2 years), and Ginny (2 years).
I enjoy going to the zoo, children’s museum, my parents cabin, reading books, swimming, scrap booking, taking pictures and playing with my family. I am looking forward to another very exciting school year with lots of enjoyment too!
You can reach me at school by calling the office 612-668-5000 and asking to leave a message. The office will put you through to the classroom ONLY before or after school. We are very busy learning during the day and unless it is an emergency would appreciate your respect of our time by calling during the hours listed. You can call my voice mailbox directly at 612-668-8306 (I do NOT get a chance to check my voicemail during the school day. Your best option if you need to leave an urgent message would be to have a secretary leave a note in my mailbox or email me). You can email me at kgores@mpls.k12.mn.us. Feel free to email me at any time as I often check my inbox (weekends as well). Thank you!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Gores
