Hello! 

My name is Rachel Prince, and I am the School Counselor for all students, Kindergarten through 8^th grade, here at Sullivan. I began my counseling career at Sullivan in 2008 and feel very lucky to have been here for the last five years.   I live right here in the Longfellow neighborhood with my husband, Adam, and our exuberantly happy 1-year-old, Elliot.  

 

I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota, as well as my Master’s degree in Educational Psychology. As Sullivan’s School Counselor, I get to know students through classroom lessons, groups, and individual counseling. My job at Anne Sullivan is to help make sure that students are happy and successful in school. I am the Co-Coordinator of our AVID program, Student Council Advisor, High School Choice Coordinator, and RAMPP (Tutoring) Coordinator. The best part of my job is getting to see students every day, helping them with issues that range from fixing friendship troubles to filling out high school applications to figuring out how to get an ‘A’ on their next test.
