In addition Sullivan middle school students have a specialist period, an advisory program, and an enrichment period. The middle school houses a new, state-of-the-art fitness center which students utilize during Health and Fitness. Our middle school students have the opportunity to get in shape using weights, elliptical step machines, treadmills, and other equipment as part of their physical education program. In addition to the fitness center, Sullivan's middle school has a middle school media center, computer lab, and cafeteria which are separate from the elementary school's facilities. Anne Sullivan is also an International Peace Site, where 40 to 50 middle school students are trained as building-wide peer mediators. Sullivan middle school students have the opportunity to learn about theater through a non-profit organization, Project Success. Project Success designs programs to help students gain confidence in creative thinking, decision making, goal setting, and resourcefulness while developing the skills to plan their future.
